IRONFEL is building practical software for data work. Brutus is the first product: a focused validation tool for catching bad data before an import, migration, or downstream system has to deal with it.

WHY START WITH BRUTUS

Imports fail for very ordinary reasons.

Missing required values. Wrong formats. Duplicate identifiers. Unexpected characters. Dates that do not match the target format. Values outside the domain a system accepts.

Brutus exists to make those requirements explicit before the import begins: define the contract, validate the file, and deal with the failures while the data is still under your control.

Explicit over mysterious The user defines the rules. The software applies them.

Focused over sprawling Brutus does validation. It is not trying to become every kind of data tool at once.

Privacy by architecture Uploaded data should exist only as long as the job requires, rather than becoming a permanent collection by default.

Built to grow deliberately IRONFEL can add other focused products over time without making Brutus less clear about what it does.
