Privacy
A plain-language overview of how Brutus is designed to handle uploaded data and the information needed to operate the service.
Uploaded files
Brutus is designed to process uploaded Excel and CSV content during the active session and not keep that uploaded file content as a permanent dataset.
Session data
Brutus uses Redis-backed server-side sessions with a configured 30-minute session lifetime. Session information exists to operate the active workflow and expires according to the application's session configuration.
Account and application data
IRONFEL may process information needed to authenticate users and operate product functionality, including account-related information and saved validation templates. Authentication is handled through Microsoft Entra ID.
Templates
Saved templates contain reusable validation configuration, such as column rules. They are intended to preserve the validation setup rather than the uploaded dataset itself.
AI
Brutus validation is rule-based. Uploaded file content does not need to be submitted to an AI model for Brutus to determine validation failures.
Service providers
Brutus relies on infrastructure and service providers to operate the application, including cloud hosting, database, session, and authentication services. These providers may process technical or account information as required to deliver those services.
Changes
This privacy information may be updated as Brutus moves from prototype to commercial operation, particularly as billing and additional account features are introduced.
