Terms of Service

1. Service

Brutus is a file-validation tool for supported Excel and CSV files. Users configure validation rules, process files, and may download generated validation results.

2. Uploaded data

Brutus is designed to process uploaded file content during an active session rather than retain it as a permanent uploaded dataset. Users are responsible for ensuring they have the right to upload and process the data they provide.

3. Restricted data

Do not upload data that is prohibited by the service terms or data whose regulatory, contractual, or security requirements are incompatible with Brutus. If you are unsure whether a workload is appropriate, contact IRONFEL before using the service.

4. Acceptable use

You may not misuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, bypass technical limits, access another user's account or data, or use Brutus in violation of applicable law.

5. Accounts and sessions

Authenticated access may be required. You are responsible for activity associated with your account and for maintaining appropriate control of your authenticated session.

6. Availability and changes

IRONFEL may modify, suspend, or discontinue features as Brutus evolves. During the prototype and early commercial stages, product limits and capabilities may change.

7. No warranty

Brutus is provided without a guarantee that it will identify every possible issue in every dataset or that a validated file will be accepted by a particular downstream system. Users remain responsible for their data and import decisions.

8. Intellectual property

IRONFEL retains rights in Brutus, its software, branding, and service materials. Users retain rights in the data they are authorized to provide to the service.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the applicable laws of Québec, Canada, subject to any mandatory law that applies otherwise.
